OUR MISSION
The mission of the Plaza Rotary Club of Kansas City Charitable Foundation is to inspire philanthropy by the Rotary Club of Kansas City-Plaza and its members for the communities relevant to the Club in a manner that is consistent with the seven areas of focus of the Rotary International Foundation, through fundraising and management and investment of the Foundation’s funds in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Kansas City-Plaza.

A few of the projects our members and the Foundation have supported in recent years.
Equipping the Kitchen at Nourish KC
A Foundation grant funded a new commercial refrigerator and baking sheeter, so Nourish KC can store more donated food and turn it into more meals. Our members keep showing up to serve them, too.
Lock It For Love
Funding 150 free gun locks with Grandparents for Gun Safety, distributed through Swope Health.
Supporting Urban Ranger Corps KC
A district grant helped fund a new van, and members joined a Swope Parkway cleanup and a pickleball tournament to raise funds for it.
RISE Business Award
Recognizing and investing in local entrepreneurs building equity in Kansas City.
25 Years of Shoes for Orphan Souls
District 6040 set out to collect 25,000 pairs for its 25th anniversary and passed 29,000 — with 2,254 pairs from our club alone. Each pair is comfort, dignity, and care for a child who needs it.
