Global Ties KC is bringing some of the best and brightest high school students to Kansas City this Summer, and we wanted to see if any members of your Club might be interested in opening their homes to the world for two weeks. These students are part of Department of State sponsored exchange programs, aimed to developing the next generation of changemakers throughout the world. Each student is responsible for implementing a community project upon returning to their home countries. We are in need of a lot of community volunteers to help make this program a success. The two opportunities are here:

Mexico

20 students (boys and girls) and 2 adult mentors

We ask that host families provide breakfast, dinner, bed, and a fun American experience on the weekends. Students will be in leadership development and community service activities with Global Ties KC from 9-5 on weekdays. There will be meeting locations based on convenient geographic dispersion of host families each morning and evening.
